Night to Shine

We are so excited to host Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, on Friday, February 13, 2026! Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement through the local church, where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment, and reminded of God’s love for them!

Serve as a Buddy. A buddy at Night to Shine will accompany and assist an assigned Honored Guest throughout the evening. They will provide companionship and needed assistance to their Honored Guest during the event. This is a great way to serve and help us ensure that Night to Shine is great night for all! Buddies must be at least 16 years old.

Life Group Leadership Lunch & Training

Join us for a special lunch and training designed for all Life Group Leaders.

Please be sure to register each person in your group who will be attending. We’ll gather for lunch in the Atrium immediately following the 10:30 service. Both Next Gen and Adult leaders will begin together in the Atrium.

  • Children over the age of 4 will remain with their parents throughout the event.

Mission Ignition

Mission Ignition is an action-packed missions experience for kids in 1st–6th grade. Kids will discover how they can be part of God’s mission through hands-on activities, engaging Bible based lessons, and interactive worship. They’ll meet real missionaries from around the world, jump into fun team-building games, and explore creative ways to serve both locally and globally. Our prayer is that every child leaves inspired and excited to live on mission long after the day is over.

Spring Break Sports Camp

Our Spring Break Sports Camp is a fun, multisport experience for kids in 1st through 6th grade, happening March 16–18 from 9:00am to 12:00pm each day. Campers will rotate through basketball, soccer, taekwondo, and volleyball while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in a fun and encouraging environment. Each morning also includes a devotional time designed to help kids grow both on and off the court. Drop-off begins at 8:30am with pick up available between 11:50am -12:10pm. It’s the perfect way for kids to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy spring break with purpose.

Worship Arts Camp

Worship Arts Camp is a three day camp for students in 5th through 12th grade, happening March 16 to 18 from 2:00 to 3:30pm each day. This camp is designed for beginners who are interested in learning bass or drums and exploring what it means to serve on a worship team. Students will learn basic instrument skills, simple rhythms and techniques, and foundational principles like teamwork, preparation, and the heart behind leading worship. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and grow.

CrossTimbers

CrossTimbers is a Mission Adventure Camp for kids who have completed 3rd through 6th grade. From May 30 to June 2, campers will step into a few days packed with adventure, faith, and fun as they grow closer to God and each other.

Parents and sponsors are invited to a required meeting on May 13, 2026, from 6 to 7:30pm to learn important details and get ready for camp. A $60 deposit is required at registration to reserve your camper’s spot, with all remaining balances due at camper drop off on May 30, 2026.

Church Family Meeting

On January 25, we will be having our quarterly Church Family Sunday. We will have our Sunday morning schedule of Life Groups at 9:00am and our Worship Service at 10:30am, which will be followed by the two additional events listed below.

Noon- Fellowship Meal We will enjoy a meal together following the worship service. The cost for the meal is $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family household if you register by Sunday, January 18. The cost will be $10 per person with a maximum of $30 per family household after January 18. A ticket must be purchased for the meal and can be done online or at either connection hub, or west desk (during the week).

12:30pm- Family Business Meeting We will review finances from our last quarter, get updated on many of the ministry efforts of the past quarter, and more.

United Weekend has been moved to January 30th to February 1st.

If your student will not be able to attend because of the date change, we will refund any payments that have been made. You can cancel their Realm registration if that is the case. (Please remember that students are allowed to come and go throughout the weekend to attend previously scheduled events as long as we have parental permission on file.)

First Moore Students (7th-12th graders) is partnering with other churches in Moore and South OKC for United Weekend on January 30th-February 1st. Students will worship together and be challenged to go deeper in their walk with Christ through biblical teaching and small group discussion.

United Weekend unofficially begins with the United Rally at First Moore Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 21st. This evening is similar to the weekend worship experiences, but is free and open to any student even if they can’t attend United Weekend.

Students stay in host homes on Friday night and Saturday night with a guest leader(s) to talk about each of the sessions. Every host home is a member of First Moore and students are divided by grade/gender.

Please Note: Even though most of our students will choose to stay in host homes during the weekend, this is not a requirement to participate in United Weekend. Please contact Jason if you have any questions.

Important Details About United Weekend


United Weekend is one of the main events we participate in each year for our students. This weekend challenges our students to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus, builds community among our students, while also showing them the importance of uniting with local churches in worship. If your student is not currently registered, please encourage them to join in!

Please Note:

  • Students are not required to stay overnight at the host homes. Please contact Jason if you have questions about host home participation.

  • Students are allowed to arrive late or come and go if they have other activities they must participate in on Saturday. They will need to have a Time Away card on record.

  • Scholarships assistance if available upon request. Contact Brennan in the Next Gen office for a scholarship request form.

Men's Ski Trip

All men are invited to join the First Moore Men’s Ministry for our next Ski Trip in January 2026!  We will be heading to the Cougar Canyon Main Bunk in South Fork, CO on January 16 and will return to Moore on January 20, 2026.  The cost is $220 per person and includes lodging for four nights as well as breakfast and dinner each day.  Lift tickets, Ski Rental, Travel Meals, Lunches, and Transportation cost extra.  The deadline for Registration/Payment is December 15, 2025, but payment is non-refundable after January 1st, 2026.  Mark Hamm can answer any questions at marks.hamm@cox.net or 405-613-6200.

Christmas Gathering

Join us on Sunday, December 14, for our Christmas Gathering Service. We will begin the morning with a pancake breakfast at 9am, followed by a special worship service at 10:30am featuring meaningful Christmas music. It will be a wonderful time to celebrate the season together as a church family. We will also receive a special “All In” offering that morning. This is an opportunity for every family, from our kids bringing their banks to adults giving as the Lord leads, to help us move closer to our December goal of $100K. Your faithful generosity has already helped us raise nearly $600K this year, reducing our worship center debt and positioning us well before our interest rate adjusts in 2026. Let’s finish the year strong as we continue working together to honor God and invest in the future of our church.

Join us at the Moore Christmas Spectacular as we take part in this festive, city-wide celebration. This free community event features a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, Christmas carolers, the official tree lighting, shopping at the Mini Merry Market, and a fireworks show at 8:20 PM. Food trucks will be on-site, and you can catch performances from our Kid Worship Arts and the Moore Community Choir as we help bring the sounds of the season to life!
