Summer Bible Discussion Groups
Each group is made up of five people of the same gender but varying ages.
We will meet for 5 weeks to discuss Bible passages. The dates are May 20th to June 20th.
Groups will meet at various times and locations. Whatever works best for your group!
All groups will discuss the same passage, led by a group facilitator.

Help us bless expecting mothers and mothers of babies/toddlers in our community!
The Moore Social Services Coalition is hosting a Community Baby Shower on Saturday, April 26 from 10am-noon at the Moore Library. This event is the first of its kind in Moore and it has the hopes to educate mothers on the available resources and to provide tangible items for them. We are coming alongside them to help provide a package of diapers for every person that attends.
Join us in blessing the mothers in our community by donating a package of diapers during the month of March. Donation drop spots are located at each elevator in our building.
On September 28, the Foster Care and Adoptive Association of Oklahoma will be using our campus for a training from 9am-3:30pm. We would like to serve the parents attending by caring for their children. If you would like to serve this day, you can pick a three-hour time slot and what age you would prefer to care for. Please register below to let us know you want to help!
To help start off the year on a positive note, we are collecting Clorox wipes, Kleenex tissues, and Expo Dry Erase Markers for our MPS Educators! We have a goal to collect 2500 of each item by July 31! Donation boxes will are located around the church campus to drop off the items. Please share with your Life Group to encourage them to bring the items to church this week. We are also accepting monetary donations for school supplies. You can donate by clicking the button below.

WHAT IS PRAYER WALKING?
Prayer walking is “praying on-site with insight.” Allow what you see, hear, feel, smell, and taste
to help inform your prayers.
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you pray.
HOW DO I PRAYER WALK?
Begin with praise and confession.
Thank God for the opportunity to partner with Him in His work by lifting up the spiritual and physical needs of the people group or community you walk through.
Confess any known sin so that you intercede with a clean heart.
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and prayers as you go.
If you aren’t sure what prayer needs to ask for, praying Scripture is a great place to start. Pray through any verses that come to mind. Be sure to note what passages and insights the Lord brings to your mind.
Do you want to learn/play disc golf? If your answer is yes, you are invited to join our group on Tuesdays at 6pm. This is an opportunity for men and women of all ages to get outside, get some exercise, and potentially have quality, spiritual conversations while throwing some discs. Lottie Moon faithfully served the Lord as a missionary in China for many years. Learn more about her here. Since 1918, Southern Baptist Churches have been receiving an offering for International Missions named after her during the Christmas season. First Moore is excited to be joining churches all over the world with this offering as we continue to honor Lottie’s legacy and advance the gospel through out the world. Every dollar received through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goes directly to missionaries on the field.
You can be involved with this offering in several ways. First you can join us in a week of prayer for International Missions. We will be highlighting different missionaries each day on social media beginning, Monday November 15. Second, you can give to this offering. You can give online or in person to this offering anytime before the end of 2021. We will be receiving a special offering at our Missions Banquet on November 21.
